Instructional Design and eTeaching Services evaluates new instructional technology products to help faculty who wish to incorporate technology into their teaching.

To determine which product suits your needs, to learn how to use one of the new products listed below, to find out the location of a new product, or to obtain a liscense for the software listed below, please contact eteach@bc.edu.

A program that creates Flash-based activities and games for student learning. These activities/games can then be inserted into Blackboard Vista. StudyMate allows users to:

• Create Flash-based activities and games without needing to know Flash or HTML
• Choose between 10 formats (ie, flashcards, matching, crossword puzzles, quizzes, etc)
• Insert multimedia files
• Utilize the equation editor to include mathematical and scientific formulas

Once the activities have been created, the user can upload them directly to his/her Blackboard Vista site for students to access.

StudyMate is only compatible with Windows.
