Printing to the CTRC or Libraries with Windows 7 and Vista
Important: Students can print 500 pages per semester for free. If you print over 500 pages, you will be charged 3 cents per page to your Eagle Bucks account. Printing to the CTRC using Windows 7 and Vista
- Log in to your computer as an Administrator.
- Optional: Join the BC domain.
Note: If you join the BC domain, then you only need to follow these set up instructions once. If you do not join the BC domain and you restart your computer, you will need to repeat Steps 1-7 to print to the CTRC. - Click Start.
- In the search bar, type (see Figure 1): \\pharos-ps1

- Press <Enter>.
- If you have not joined the BC domain, you are prompted to enter your username and password (see Figure 2):
- In the User name box, type (substituting your BC username in place of “username”): bc\username
- In the Password box, enter your BC password.
- Click OK.

- Right-click CTRCPrinters and click Connect (see Figure 3).

- If prompted to install any necessary software or printer drivers, click Install or OK.

Note: If you have not joined the BC domain and you restarted your computer, you will need to repeat Steps 1-7 to print in the CTRC.
Retrieving print jobs sent to the CTRC
Go to any printer in the CTRC and swipe your BC ID at the print release station. Your job will print at the first available printer.
Notes:
- The default setting in the CTRC and Libraries is now set to double-sided, so if you want to print single-sided, you will need to change the default setting. Learn more about double-sided printing with Windows.
- Your print jobs remain in the queue for 48 hours, making it easier to print to the CTRC from anywhere.
Printing to the Libraries
- Log in to your computer as an Administrator.
- Optional: Join the BC domain.
Note: If you join the BC domain, then you only need to follow these set up instructions once. If you do not join the BC domain and you restart your computer, you will need to repeat Steps 1-8 to print to the Libraries. - Click Start.
- In the search bar, type \\pharos-ps2
- If you have not joined the BC domain, you are prompted to enter your username and password. In the username box, type bc\username (substituting your BC username in place of "username").
- Right-click your desired library: BapstLibrary, ONeillLibrary, SWLibrary, or TML and from the drop-down list, click Connect.
- If prompted to install any necessary software, click OK.
- In order to print to the Libraries, you must select \\pharos-ps2\<library_printer_name>. The available Library printer names are: BabstLibrary, ERC, ONeillLibrary, SWLibrary, or TML.

Your print job will remain in the queue for 24 hours.
