Locking and Unlocking Files and Folders
Learn how to:
Locking files
- Locate the file that you want to lock. Learn about navigating folders.
- Check the box next to the file, then click Manage (see Figure 1).

Locking folders
- Locate the folder that you want to lock. Learn about navigating folders.
- Check the box next to the folder, then click Manage (see Figure 4).

- From the pull-down menu select one of the locking methods (see Figure 6).
To lock the folder and everything within it, select Folder & Contents Locked. To just lock the folder, select Folder Locked.
NOTE: Folder Locked locks the folder so no one else can upload files to the folder, but they can still edit the files within the folder when given permission. Folder & Contents locked locks everything.

Unlocking files or folders
To unlock files or folders:
- Locate the file or folder that you want to unlock. Learn about navigating folders.
- Check the box next to the file or folder, then click Manage (see Figure 7).

- From the pull-down menu select one of the Unlocked, then click Apply (see Figure 9).
