Student Organization Group Email Account Request Form
Only registered student organizations can request a group email account. This group email account is only an email forward to addresses you specify (up to 5 email addresses) on the form below. It is not an email account with quota space.
To request a group email account for your student club or organization, print out this form, fill it in, and get a signature from an ODSD representative who works with your organization. Then, send it via campus mail to: Brian Bernier, Information Technology Services, St. Clements Hall 459.
Only use this form for NEW requests. If you need to make changes to an existing student organization group email account, please email group.email.questions@bc.edu with the details.

Responsibilities of Student Organization Group Account Recipients
Individuals requesting or accessing group email accounts must adhere to the following responsibilities:
- Abide by all University policies regarding the ethical and courteous use of information systems, information confidentiality, and copyrights as published in the Boston College Policies and Procedures Manual.
- Abide by the policies outlined in the ODSD document "Technological Resources Information for Student Leaders."
- Ensure adherence to the above policies by all individuals replying to or sending messages from the account in question.
- Coordinate with other members of the organization explicit policies regarding who answers email messages, to prevent multiple or no response.
- Notify group.email.questions@bc.edu immediately about any changes regarding the account (responsible party, address changes etc.).
Reminder to graduating students responsible for student group email accounts, listservs, and websites: Remember to designate another person in your organization to manage the group email address, the listserv, or the website maintenance before you graduate. Select this person by April of your graduating year to make sure that your organization's communication mechanisms are kept up-to-date.
