Pre-installation

  1. Print this page for reference.
  2. Download Microsoft Office 2008 to your desktop. When prompted, enter your BC username and password. Save the MicrosoftOffice2008-Mac.dmg installation file to your desktop. Do not install the application at this time.
    Note:
    • There may be a slight delay before your download starts.
    • Due to the Office 2008 image's large file size, it may take a few minutes to download.
    • To prevent disruptions to the download, we recommend that you use a high-speed, wired connection to the Internet, such as a broadband or DSL connection. Wireless connections are usually less stable and may cause your download to take longer or fail.
