Q. How do I send an email from Campus Groups?
A. The QuickMail and Desktop compose buttons allow you to send an email to your groups. Learn more about the QuickMail and Desktop buttons.

Q. How do I share my groups with others?
A. When you share a group with others, you are giving them access to view and communicate with the group. Only you can update or delete a group that you create. Learn how to share groups with other BC people.
Notes: You cannot add non-BC addresses to Campus Groups. If you want to share a collection of email addresses that includes non-BC email addresses, create a listserv

Q. Can I share the maintenance of a group with others?
A. Yes. There is an Administrative group function that allows multiple BC people to maintain the same group. Group administrators can create, update, and delete groups. They can also grant update access to others within the same department. All members of the group will be able to see the group in Campus Groups and use it.

Q. Will I see my class lists and advisee lists in Campus Groups?
A. Yes. Course Address Groups and Advisee Address Groups will be available to instructors/students on the My Address Groups page in Campus Groups.

Q. How should I report a problem or ask a question about Campus Groups?
A. Contact your Technology Consultant or call the Help Center at (617) 552-HELP (4357).

Q. Can I add users that do not have BC email addresses to My Groups?
A. No. You cannot add non-BC addresses to your list.

Q. Do I need to go through Agora Portal to use my Groups?
A. No. If you know the name of your group (i.e. username.groupname), you can type it in the Bcc: field of your email compose window, "smithj.committee@bc.edu," and it will act like a "listserv" and blind copy everyone in that group. Learn more about using groups as listservs.

Q. Will I receive training?
A. The documentation should answer most of your questions and help you use Campus Groups. If you are experiencing problems or need help using Campus Groups, please call the Help Center at 617-552-HELP (4357).
