To change your default email program:
Mac OS 8.5 & 9
- From the Finder, select menu item: Apple Menu > Control Panels > Internet.
- Click on the Email tab.
- Click and hold on the Default Email Application pulldown menu and select your preferred email application.
- If your preferred email client is not in the pulldown use Select to find your preferred choice.
- Close the window.
- When prompted, click on Save to save changes.
Mac OS 10
- From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
- Click the Show All icon at the top left of the window.
- Click the Internet icon.
- Click on the Email tab.
- Click the arrow box on the Default Email Reader pop-up list and choose Select.
- Select the email client you wish to use from the list.
- Close the Internet window.
