  • OWA does not require any configuration work
  • Whenever possible, access OWA using Internet Explorer; you will have access to additional features. When you access OWA with any other browser (Firefox) you will be logging in to OWA Light.
  • You can use Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Safari to:
    • View & print your calendar in different views (daily, weekly, monthly).
    • View shared calendars & calendars for which you are a delegate.
    • Run spell check.

ACCESSING OWA

  1. Open your web browser (preferably Internet Explorer) and go to: http://owa.bc.edu
  2. Select Public or Shared OR Private
If you are accessing OWA from a public or shared computer, select that option. It has a short time out on sessions left idle. If you are on a private computer and are the sole or primary person using the computer, you can select Private and will have a greater length of time before the session will log you off.
  3. Log In:
    a. In the Domain\user name field, simply enter your BC username.
    b. In the Password field, enter your BC password.
    c. Click the Log On button.

When you have finished using OWA, remember to click the Log Off link.
