Setting Up a Signature in Apple Mail

For your convenience, you can include a signature that is automatically added to all outgoing messages. A signature usually includes your name and contact information. To add a signature:

  1. Go to Mail > Preferences…
  2. Click the Signatures tab.

  3. Select your BC email account (it may be named differently that what is shown in the example below).

  4. Click the + at the bottom of the second column.

  5. Type a name for your signature in the second column.

  6. Type your signature in the third column.

  7. Select your signature from the Choose Signature menu.

Your signature will now appear on all new messages you create, and on replies and forwarded messages.
