Creating an Appointment
An appointment is an event only you will attend. You might create an appointment to block out time for yourself to work on a project or attend a personal appointment, for example. To create an appointment:

In iCal, in Daily, Weekly, or Monthly view double-click on the day you want to create the meeting. A New Event dialog box, like the one shown below, appears.

Enter a name for your appointment.

Enter a location in the location field (optional).

Enter the from and to dates and times.

Click Done.
