BGenerous at BC

Those who volunteer and pursue ways to give back to the community often have lower mortality rates, greater functional ability, and lower rates of depression later in life than those who do not. BGenerous this year by getting involved on and off campus. Here are some suggestions:

  1. Do a good deed or random act of kindness everyday
  2. Advocate for a friend or family member in need
  3. Join a student service organization on campus
  4. Make service part of your coursework through the PULSE Program
  5. Participate in a service immersion trip
  6. Apply for full-time post-graduate service opportunities
  7. Take advantage of service opportunities at a volunteer fair
  8. Foster awareness about important national and global concerns
  9. Visit the Volunteer & Service Learning Center in McElroy 114
  10. Donate to BC or encourage others to do so
