Jesuit Restaurant Week
spend a meal with a jesuit
Be on the lookout for the 2nd Annual Jesuit Restaurant Week coming in Spring 2012!
Jesuit Restaurant Week is a program brought to you by the Center for Student Formation. It allows you and a few friends to share a great meal and conversation with a member of the Boston College Jesuit community to learn more about the Society of Jesus and about the lives of some of the most fascinating people at Boston College.
Those groups chosen will receive a dinner grant that can will cover the cost of dinner at a restaurant in the greater Boston area. We encourage you to choose a restaurant away from campus--either in Boston or in neighboring towns--to use this opportunity to explore the city a bit.
To apply:
- Get together a group of five people total--friends, classmates, teammates or clubmates.
- Reach out to a member of the BC Jesuit community who you'd like to get to know. If you don't have a particular Jesuit in mind, email Oliver at the email address below for suggestions. Before submitting your application, you must have confirmation from a Jesuit that he is willing to participate in your meal.
- Decide on themes and questions you would like to discuss while at dinner.
- Fill out the Jesuit Restaurant Week application. As we only have a select number of grants available, be sure to put some thought into your application while applying.
- Applications will be available in the Spring 2012
