Training Program

environmental health & safety

Boston College's goal is to create, maintain, and enhance a safe and healthful environment for all individuals associated with the institution, including students, faculty, employees, and visitors.

A training program was established to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental health and safety standards. The Office of Environmental Health & Safety provides health and safety training, information, and compliance assistance.

The employing department shall define which positions within their department require training and ensure that employees attend specified training. Employees are expected to attend all required training and observe established policies.

Individual training for any of the described courses can be arranged per department. Call for details.

If any department is interested in a Train the Trainer program for applicable training sessions in that department, contact EH&S for details.

Participants must receive permission from their supervisor before registering for training.

Call EH&S at 2-0308 to register.
