Project Management at Boston College
In an ongoing collaboration with Information Technology Services (ITS), the Office of Employee Development (OED), through its open-registration programs, has introduced project management concepts and techniques. In an OED survey, senior management had cited that project management skills were key for Boston College’s continued success.
With the focus on non-project managers, panel presentations have covered what project management is at Boston College and offered project management techniques especially for non-project managers.
Subsequent lunch ‘n learn sessions on specific project management topics were also offered:
- Risk Management
- Scope Control and Change Management
- Project Communication Management
In our commitment to educate and support University employees about project management methods, tools, and best practices, ITS and OED will continue these learning opportunities.
Visit ITS Project Management Office webpage for techniques, templates, and resources.
