This event will focus on the Pedro Pan Operation, in which 14,000 Cuban children were secretly airlifted to the US from 1960-1962.  Keynote speaker Carlos Eire (author and professor at Yale University), will relate his experience following a screening of the CNBC documentary "Escape from Havana."  Light refreshments will be served.
