Alumni parents of the Class of 2012 and their families are invited to a continental breakfast reception prior to Baccalaureate Mass. Invitations will be sent to Legacy families in late April, 2012. Please call the Alumni Association at 617-552-4700 for additional information.

All should be seated by 11:45 a.m. Graduates should be attired in gown but without cap & hood. They may sit with family and friends during the Mass. No tickets necessary.

MONDAY, MAY 21- COMMENCEMENT DAY

9:15 a.m. - Academic Procession
10:00 a.m. - University Commencement Exercises (main ceremony)
Alumni Stadium

There is open seating, no limit to the number of guests and no tickets necessary.
12:00 p.m.- Individual School and College Diploma Ceremonies
Commencement Exercises are a two-part ceremony. The University Commencement will start with the procession at 9:15 a.m. followed by the ceremony at 10:00 a.m. and takes approximately two hours; it is followed immediately by Individual School and College Diploma Ceremonies around noon which are completed by 2:00 p.m. The University Commencement is attended by all graduates. The President addresses the graduates, confers honorary degrees, and, through student representatives, confers the appropriate degrees on all graduates. The Commencement Speaker delivers the Commencement address. Diplomas are distributed to graduates at the diploma ceremonies.
