2011 CAREER FAIR DETAILS

The 2011 Career Fair is a wonderful opportunity for recruiters from around the nation to meet, interview, and interact with some of the best and brightest nurses in New England.  Boston College boasts a full range of nursing majors, which includes a total of 385 undergraduates in four classes.  BC has 94 graduating seniors in May 2011, all with baccalaureate degrees.  Approximately 40% of these graduates seek initial licensure outside of MA.  BC had 120 MS graduates in 2010; graduates are eligible for certification as NP or CNS in one of several specialties (Adult Health, Gerontology, Palliative Care, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Anesthesia, Psych-Mental Health, Family). Boston College actively recruits a diverse student body and provides mentorship and leadership development to undergraduates through the "Keys to Inclusive Leadership in Nursing" program.

SHIPPING MATERIALS TO THE FAIR

IMPORTANT: Since we only have limited space for storage, we ask that you send your Career Fair materials so that WE RECEIVE THEM between November 26 and December 2. We can not guarantee that materials received after December 2 will be transported to the Career Fair location.

Return Shipping Instructions
If you are planning to ship materials back to your organization after the Career Fair on Friday December 9, please follow the instructions below.

1. Arrange for your carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.) to arrive at the Murray Room in Yawkey Athletics Center, by 3:00 PM for pickup. Pre-arrange this or provide your representatives with the necessary telephone numbers so they can call from the fair.
2. Bring necessary packing supplies with you to the Career Fair (tape, labels, markers, etc.)
3. Bring completed self-addressed shipping labels for your packages.
