Post-Graduate Volunteer Job Fair

full-time opportunities for graduating seniors

Considering doing a year of volunteer work after graduation?  Then don't miss the Post Grad Volunteer Job Fair!

DATE: Tuesday, October 26, 2010

TIME/LOCATION: 4:00-7:00 PM

Heights Room, Corcoran Commons
(Lower Campus Dining Hall)

The Fair offers graduating students a great opportunity to meet with volunteer organizations with a wide variety of opportunities in the US and abroad.

NOTE that "volunteer" usually means that you are living in a community of fellow workers and are provided with room, meals and a small stipend.

The opportunities include teaching in inner-city schools, social work, wilderness-based therapuetic programs for troubled teens, bringing emergency help to victims of war, providing health training, working in homeless shelters and food banks, and even working at a Christian radio station in Alaska.

Over 50 full-time domestic and international opportunities available.  For more information, visit: http://www.bc.edu/offices/service/post_graduate/volunteerorganizations.html
