Still don’t know what you want to be when you grow up? (SKILL SCAN)
Join us for the Skill Scan career assessment, a card game that organizes what skills you are good at and what skills you prefer, to point you toward career fields you might enjoy. Then stay for questions and answers with a career counselor. Click HERE to register, then go to the Events tab.

Graduate School Workshop
Thinking about graduate school next year? Attend this workshop to learn about your graduate school application options, as well as strategies to make the most of a year off. Click HERE to register, then go to the Events tab.

Online Job Search Strategy
Learn how to utilize BC’s database, EagleLink, as well as national databases, to find the types of positions you’d like to apply for. Bring your laptop to follow along! Click HERE to register, then go to the Events tab.

Cover Letter Bootcamp
Once you know which jobs you’re planning to apply for, the bulk of the work goes into writing cover letters. Bring your first drafts, completed cover letters, or blank pages to the Career Center, where you’ll get a brief workshop on cover letter writing, and have counselors on hand to answer your questions or help proofread as you work on your letters independently. LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with 75 million+ members and growing rapidly. Attend this user-friendly workshop on how to maximize this tool as part of your career strategy. As a result of attending this workshop, you will be able to:
1) Create and build a complete professional profile to showcase your skills and talents
2) Recreate your “real-world” network by connecting to past and present colleagues and classmates
3) Gather information about careers, industries, and organizations
4) Leverage your network to discover inside connections as part of your job search

What You Can Do to Prepare for Career Center SENIOR DAY:
· Have your resume reviewed at Career Center drop-in hours
· Organize any information you already have related to job search
· Charge up your laptop battery and make sure to bring it with you!
