The Career Center at Boston College offers a variety of resources to help you learn more about careers that interest you. Here’s how to get started:

Do your research

BC’s Career Resource Library has an extensive collection of resources that can help you explore various jobs and career paths. We also subscribe to several online resources and maintain a blog for up-to-date job information. And as a BC student, you have free access to Vault’s Career Insider, a collection of guides to career fields and companies.  See where previous BC graduates have landed by reviewing the Boston College Post-Graduation Plans Survey for the Class of 2013, Class of 2012, and Class of 2011.

Network and connect

Learn more about careers by talking to professionals in fields that interest you. In addition to friends and family, you can learn a lot by networking through social media tools such as LinkedIn and our RealJobs blog. You can also connect with Boston College alumni in every field through BC's Career Network.
