Boston College Police will be holding its Annual Auction benefiting Special Olympics Massachusetts on Saturday, May 4th, 2013 in the Walsh Hall Function Room. Items set for auction include, electronics, jewelery, clothing, sporting equipment and much, much more.
Special Olympics Massachusetts is a leader in providing healthy lifestyles and health care-related programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports.
Through sports training and competition, and the increased exposure to quality health care screenings and professionals, Individuals with intellectual disabilities are living healthy, vibrant lives by their association with Special Olympics. While the goal of Special Olympics is to provide Olympic-type sports training and competition, the overarching goal of the organization is to contribute to the improvement of the overall health of the Special Olympics athlete as is the case with any sports and training program.
