Twenty-five years ago, a bunch of hearty Boston College students embarked on an experiment launched by then sophomore David Healey. That experiment quickly came to be called BC bOp! Since that time, BC bOp! has grown to be one of the most successful musical ensembles in the history of Boston College!

In addition to BC bOp!'s annual Robsham concert, we're excited to celebrate this momentous anniversary with a performance by BC bOp!'s Alumni Ensemble and a clinic by world-renown jazz trumpeter, Wayne Bergeron. 

Friday, April 5th at 8pm: Clinic by Wayne Bergeron and BC bOp!

Bergeron has had an extensive career ranging from being the lead trumpeter in the Maynard Ferguson Band and earning a Grammy nomination for his 2004 solo album.  Known for his incredible range, Bergron can be heard on over 300 TV and movie soundtracks including "The Incredibles".  During this workshop, guests can learn useful techniques, ask questions and hear Bergeron perform.

Saturday, April 6th at 3pm: BC bOp! Alumni Ensemble

BC bOp! welcomes back some of the best musicians from years past.  This alumni ensemble will bring back some of the favorite songs from previous BC bOp! performances.  Wayne Bergeron will make a special guest appearance.

Saturday, April 6th at 8pm: BC bOp! presents SuperbOp! XXV

In their annual Robsham appearance, BC bOp! willl perform with guest soloist, Wayne Bergeron.  This concert wil feature classic tunes like "Over the Rainbow" and "Groovin' Hard" along with original compositions.
