ATIG lunch

IDeS Director Hosts Innovation Program Participants

Cristina Joy, the Director of Instructional Design and eTeaching Services (IDeS), welcomed several faculty members participating in the Academic Innovation Program to a lunch in their honor on March 26. The Academic Innovation Program is a joint effort by the Academic Technology Advisory Board and the University Council on Teaching to increase faculty and student interaction through technology. Participants discussed details of their projects with each other and with representatives of the Provost’s Office and IDeS staff, in addition to offering general comments on the work of the innovation program. Several faculty members remarked that they appreciated the experience of meeting together and sharing their work, adding that they hoped other opportunities for such conversation would be provided in the future. Project participants included Mary Cronin, George Wyner, and Rob Fichman from CSOM, Can Erbil from Economics, and Cindy Bravo from the Language Lab.
