AHANA Student Activities

The AHANA student population is an indivisible component of the Boston College community. Celebrating the richness of myriad cultures and histories, AHANA student clubs/organizations coordinate numerous events/activities. For instance, there are the annual culture shows hosted by a number of clubs -- the Asian Caucus, South Asian Students Association. There is the annual celebration of Black History Month in addition to the Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

The following is a sample of other activities organized by and/or for AHANA students:

Academically, AHANA students can take advantage of the support services afforded to them through the Office of AHANA Student Programs, Learning to Learn, Learning Resources for Student Athletes, Career Center, The Connors Family Learning Center (formerly known as the Academic Development Center) and other offices. To further encourage students to succeed academically, the appropriate committees present a scholarship award to AHANA students who exemplify the criteria for the individual scholarships: Asian American Scholarship, Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship, Oscar Romero Scholarship.
