A Message From Dr. Inés Maturana Sendoya

office of ahana student programs

 Dear students!

Welcome back! I hope you had a relaxing break and had the opportunity to share with family and loved ones!   We are looking forward to continue working with you during the spring semester.    I encourage you to attend the events planned for Black History Month in February and for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in April.   The student committees and our staff are busy planning an array of educational and social events to celebrate those months.   In addition, if you are planning to take a course during the summer, make sure to meet with your OASP college counselor to find out more about the Summer Tuition Remission Program.  Applications should be available on our website in February.   Finally, check our FaceBook page and Mini-feeds because they contain important information about opportunities, scholarships, jobs, events, and opportunities available for you on and off campus.

Remember that our office is here to ensure your academic, spiritual, and leadership success at Boston College!  Stop by or call the Thea Bowman AHANA Center, to set up an appointment with one of our great counselors. We look forward to partnering with you and helping your dreams come to fruition.

In the spirit of academic success!

Inés Maturana Sendoya, Ed.D.
