Regular Events

Professors & Pastries
This regular weekly series gives students the opportunity to meet informally with faculty, advisors, and professionals. Themes range from “Life Sciences and the Health Professions” to “How to Succeed in Business with a Liberal Arts Degree” to “Studying, Working, and Living Abroad.”
Ask the Advising Center
Don’t have time to stop by the Academic Advising Center? Have a question about your schedule you’ve been meaning to ask someone? This is an opportunity for students to stop by our table in McElroy during select hours in the advising period with general questions related to advising and registration.
Conversations With......
This regular series of informal conversations with faculty and professionals covers such topics as preparing for a business career with a liberal arts degree, minors in the Lynch School of Education, using the Career Center, and choosing a major.
Traveling Seminars
In these seminars, possibly two or three times each semester, students meet informally with faculty and professional staff to gain insights into their research and to tour cultural and research facilities and resources. Seminars have included trips to the Franklin Park Zoo, McMullen Museum, Walden Pond, the Museum of Fine Arts, and Boston’s Paul Revere House.
