Academic Programs

As a student at Boston College's William F. Connell School of Nursing, you will gain the skills, knowledge, and perspective necessary to join a vibrant community of nursing leaders. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of all students, from those who have been nurses for several decades to those who are just beginning to consider a career in nursing.
Undergraduate Program
Our
bachelor of science degree designed for traditional full-time students.
The bachelor's degree takes four years of study to complete, and
transfer students are considered.
Master's and post-master's programs
These
programs are designed for individuals who are looking for a pathway to
advanced nursing practice as a nurse practitioner (NP), clinical nurse
specialist (CNS), or nurse anesthetist (CRNA). Programs are available
for individuals with a variety of backgrounds, including RNs with or
without a bachelor's degree, non-nurses with a bachelor's degree in
another field, and nurses with a master's degree interested in further
study.
Doctoral Program
Our
doctoral program offers the opportunity for each student to develop the
knowledge and skills that provide the basis for scholarly inquiry -
whether in clinical practice, research, teaching, or leadership
positions.
