Course Reserves Information

services

Overview

Course Reserves are print or electronic materials that professors have identified to use for a class. Faculty can submit a list of readings or a syllabus to library reserves staff who will then make the resources available to students. Print resources have a shortened loan period to help ensure equitable access of material to students enrolled in a course. Electronic resources can be printed or downloaded through Canvas or the Libraries’ Course Reserve Service.

All materials placed on Course Reserves are solely for the non-commercial, educational use of students and researchers at Boston College. Network access is limited to authenticated Boston College users with a username and password.

How to Put Items on Reserve

Reserve Requests may be submitted via email to the appropriate reserves department for your discipline. For further detail, please consult the page on Course Reserve Information.
