WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN INCIDENT OCCURS

Whenever a significant incident occurs on campus, the BC Police officers who report to the scene are then instructed to notify BC's Senior Administrator On-Call. Based on the seriousness of the situation, the administrator may alert the Emergency Team, whose members have created a comprehensive set of emergency response procedures to deal with crisis situations.

COMMUNICATION DURING AN EMERGENCY

Messages will be distributed through this website, campus-wide broadcast e-mail, cell phone  text messaging, and the emergency hotline at 1-888-BOS-COLL (1-888-267-2655).  In addition social media pages of Facebook and Twitter will be used to provide information and updates during an emergency.

During major emergencies, family members from across the country can obtain updated information by calling 1-888-BOS-COLL (267-2655) or visiting the BC Emergency Website at:  www.bc.edu/emergency
