Be Alert, Informed & Prepared

Maintain awareness and report any unusual activity to BC Police.
Know what hazards can occur in the area, what you should do if they occur and where to go.
Attend safety and security information sessions and training classes.
Know how to be notified of an emergency and where to get official information.
Update your contact information on the BC Portal.
Develop an emergency communication plan with family and friends.
Develop an Emergency Supply Kit.
