Young Political Leaders Program

1999 - 2000

Young political activists from Northern Ireland, Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales traveled to the United States to acquire tools that will be useful to them in their career of public service, whether elected or not. These young activists met with peers and observed the administration of American political and civil institutions in Massachusetts and Washington, DC. Through meeting American political activists and staffers the group learned to identify that skills and talents that can make them more effective in formulating or influencing political and civic policymaking.
