GJ Flannery is a senior in the Arts and Sciences Honors Program, majoring in International Studies and Theology.  This past fall, GJ researched ecosystem-based approaches to climate change for the New South Wales Conservation Council in Sydney.  At BC, GJ is the co-president of the Saint Thomas More Society, serves as Secretary of ECOPledge, and works with the BC Conflict Minerals Campaign to raise awareness of human rights violations in the Congo.   His lifelong goal is to continue to sharpen his knowledge of and develop his passion for global environmental and human rights concerns.

Robert Reese Oñate

Robert Reese Oñate is a sophomore in the College of Arts and Sciences where he is majoring in Political Science and Communications. At BC, Reese is a member of two prestigious and service-oriented leadership organizations, The Shaw Leadership Program and The Jenks Leadership Program. Reese has also participated as an SAP Greeter and member of the Mock Trial Team. He has worked as an intern for KP Public Affairs, and FlyersRights.org. He hopes to continue to use his interest in law and politics in conjunction with his passion for human rights issues in his future endeavors.
