Councelor Position with Project COMMON BOND
WHO: Project COMMON BOND is looking for enthusiastic, friendly and creative candidates (age 20+) interested in leadership roles at a peace-building and cultural exchange symposium.
WHAT: A Tuesday’s Children program, Project COMMON BOND is a week long gathering that brings together young adults impacted by terrorism worldwide. Throughout the symposium, participants engage in an interactive program that explores the role of dignity in conflict negotiation and peace-building.
WHEN: July 10 to July 20, 2012
WHERE: Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA (30 minutes from Boston);
Meals, Room and Board provided.
WHY: Project COMMON BOND is a one of a kind global program which promotes healing, creates community, and educates future ambassadors of peace. Join us and these courageous young people in echoing the Project COMMON BOND mantra “Let Our Past Change the Future.”
A Tuesday’s Children Program: Tuesday’s Children is a non-profit family service organization that has made a long-term commitment to every individual impacted by the events of September 11, 2001 and more recently those who have been impacted by terrorist incidents worldwide. Since 2001, Tuesday’s Children has promoted healing and recovery by strengthening family resilience, providing individual coping and life management skills and creating community through programs, mental health support and family engagement opportunities.
