Real Estate Council

organization and structure

Leadership of The Real Estate Council consists of a chairman and an advisory board.

The advisory board consists of no fewer than 10 members, plus the president of Boston College. Board members serve terms of two years and may serve more than one term. New members are selected by the advisory board in consultation with University staff. Board members provide leadership for the council and, in consultation with representatives of the University, define and implement the council’s programs.

The chairman of The Real Estate Council is appointed by the president of Boston College with the advice and consent of the advisory board, for a two-year term beginning July 1.  The chairman will preside at meetings of the advisory board and of The Real Estate Council and will consult regularly with the president of Boston College on matters of mutual concern.

General membership consists of Boston College alumni, parents, and close friends of the University. To inquire about general membership and to ensure that you receive invitations to the two annual events each year, please e-mail trec@bc.edu
