Student Advisory Board

2010-2011

The Student Advisory Board is composed of a group of undergraduate students representing the four class years and four schools. Students serve a term of one year and terms are renewable. The full membership of the SAB will meet at least quarterly and then as needed in small working groups for specific projects.

The purpose of the Student Advisory Board is to:

- Provide advice for current student programming to the CWBC
- Provide input and assistance for creating new programming for undergraduates
- Provide assistance in marketing CWBC programs to undergraduates
- Facilitate co-hosting of CWBC/student events
- Assist the CWBC in understanding student issues

The Student Advisory Board organized a winter gear drive benefitting Rosie's Place. SAB members Djerica Lamousnery '11 and Jennifer Tomich '12 are pictured above as they sort through the donated winter items.

STUDENT PROGRAMS
On the Job Career Exploration

This program is designed to provide students with direct exposure to various companies and industries through a day “on the job,” sponsored by a Council member. Participating firms and organizations have  included Avid Technology, Bank of America, Bingham McCutchen, LLP, Boston College, Eaton Vance, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Harvard Medical International, JP Morgan, Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster, State Street Corporation, T. Rowe Price, and WBZ television.
