150 on the Road Sparks New Service Initiative
Boston College’s 150 on the Road service projects were so well received by BC alumni, parents, and friends around the world that the BC Alumni Association has decided the show must go on.
After packing more than 450,000 meals for hungry families in Burkina Faso, Africa, the BC family will gather again in the spirit of serving others during BC on the Road: Eagles for Others. In the coming year, the Alumni Association will bring this service initiative to a number of cities, with the first leg of the journey kicking off in Washington, D.C, on Nov. 16. Learn more about the service projects here.
In response to the increased interest in service opportunities, the Alumni Association will also be revamping its National Day of Service for the coming year. More details will follow in the coming months.
