Finance executive, longtime Boston College supporter, and Wall Street Council co-founder Geoffrey T. Boisi '69 was honored at the 25th Annual Boston College Wall Street Council Tribute Dinner, held April 25 at the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel in New York City. Boisi was presented with the President's Medal for Excellence in recognition of his exceptional career, as well as his personal and professional contributions to society.
Attended by more than 1,000 guests, the festive evening recognized the Wall Street Council's 25 years of service to Boston College and to the financial services industry.
The dinner raised $2.7 million for the Presidential Scholars Program, bringing the total raised to upward of $20 million since the Tribute Dinner began. The Presidential Scholars Program offers outstanding students a full four-year scholarship to the University and provides extensive opportunities for leadership development, personal discernment, and spiritual growth.
At the gala, graduating Presidential Scholar Kelsey Swift '13 spoke to attendees about the role the program played in her own personal and educational development.
