Meg M. Kelleher ’81 has been a very active member of the Council for Women of Boston College for more than seven years. She has served as the chair of the marketing and communications committee, sat on an engagement task force, and is most recently co-chair of a committee focused on programs for alumnae. Kelleher has participated in many Council events, providing her the opportunity to support and engage with undergraduate and alumnae.
Her volunteer efforts for BC extend beyond the Council as well. Kelleher has been a part of the Boston College Mentoring Program where she has provided current undergraduates with support and career advice as they work toward furthering their education. She was also a member of her 30th Reunion Gift Committee.
Kelleher is a graduate of the Lynch School of Education. Following her time at the Heights, she taught school for one year in the Boston area. She then headed to New York and transitioned into a career in financial services. She started with Salomon Brothers and eventually rose to Chief Operating Officer at State Street. For the last six years, Kelleher has worked at Fidelity Investments as a member of the Institutional Wealth Services senior team.
Kelleher lives in Marshfield, Mass. with her husband, Pat, and their three children, Patrick, Christopher, and Haleigh.
