Every day, alumni and parents strengthen Boston College. Whether as volunteers in specific roles, as informal ambassadors in their regions, or as philanthropic supporters, their involvement makes a difference. Their efforts result in scholarships for students, career guidance and mentoring for graduates, spiritual nourishment for families, teaching resources for faculty, and the enrichment of Boston College’s mission as a Jesuit, Catholic university.
The recent increased presence of young alumni in these roles has been inspiring to the Boston College leadership. In recognition of their efforts, three young alumni who best personify the Jesuit motto of “men and women for others” will be recognized at the first-ever Celebration of Young Alumni Service awards ceremony, at the new Cadigan Alumni Center, on March 22.
The Philip J. Callan, Sr. '25 Young Alumni Award and James F. Stanton '42 Senior Class Gift Award will be presented.
