Thank you for your interest in bringing your students to Boston College. We welcome groups to campus, but we ask that you arrange your visit in advance so that we can best meet your needs. We require at least two weeks' notice to accommodate group visit requests. Unruly or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Due to the large number of special groups that visit our campus, we are unable to provide transportation, housing, or food.
Age Requirement for Special Groups
Visit programs offered through the Undergraduate Admission Office are designed for high school students, specifically juniors and seniors, and college transfer students. We certainly applaud the efforts of early-intervention programs and educators who are interested in exposing elementary or middle-school students to college.
However, to participate in our Special Groups program, students must be from a high school or college or from an organization that caters to this age group. This is due to our resource constraints and our desire not to contribute to the college admission frenzy, which can occur when introducing students to the college admission process at such an early age. It is our belief that the best way to prepare elementary and middle-school students for college is to assist them in building a solid academic foundation.
