I first came to BC for Discovery Weekend. I liked it right away. I've been in the Shaw Leadership Program; AHANA Leadership Council; Black Student Forum; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Student Social Activism Coalition; and the gospel choir, Voices of Imani. I'm a member of the Minority Association of Pre-Health Students, which sponsors panels, speakers, practice MCATs, and visits from medical, dental, and veterinary school admissions recruiters. I've learned that at BC you need to know what you want and be ready to go get it. Get your priorities straight and decide what you want to accomplish. If you want to get a class-A education and get involved in social justice activities, this is a wonderful place to be.
