What to do when you come to Chestnut Hill

If you are making your way to Boston during your college tour this year, Boston College is a necessary stop on your journey. The Boston College Student Admission Program offers a variety of ways for prospective students to learn about what it is like to attend BC from the students' perspective. Boston College offers on-campus tours and informational Eagle Eye Sessions during select times of the academic year and during the summer. Furthermore, our Day Visit Program provides the opportunity to spend a day with a current Boston College student where you will visit classes, sample the cuisine in one of our dining halls, and view a residence hall facility.

It is not necessary to sign-up or sign-in for a tour or information session prior to coming to Boston College: simply come to the Admission Office in Devlin Hall on Main Campus and you will be directed towards the approriate location for the start of a session or tour. This fall, starting Monday, September 21, 2009, Eagle Eye Information Sessions occur Monday through Friday at 10:00AM and 2:00PM, while Campus Tours run Monday through Friday at 11:00AM, 12:00PM, 1:00PM and 3:0PM. If you have made plans to visit Boston College in advance and would like a more personal experience, SAP also offers Day Visits with current students at BC. Day Visits must be scheduled no less than one week in advance by calling (800) 360-2522 or (617) 552-3100. A typical Day Visit will last from 9:45AM until 1:00PM on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday and from 10:15AM until 1:30PM on a Tuesday or Thursday.

The last day that Day Visits can be scheduled is Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The Day Visit scheduling form will be unavailable after this date. Day Visits may occur up until Friday, November 20, 2009.
