Announcement: First General Meeting!

Our annual Introduction to Consulting Panel is finally here! This Thursday (9/29) from 7 - 9 in Gasson 305, come to learn more about the consulting industry direct from young alums. See the attached flyer for more details on who is coming and what to expect. It is also important that you come, as this serves as our first general meeting. We will be discussing a number of objectives, most importantly openings for underclassmen representatives on the e-board, the consulting teams, and upcoming case competitions. In addition, cookies and brownies will be provided, so stop by and grab a treat! We will also take care of other pieces of business, as this year we are collecting $10 per member to go towards efforts throughout the year, including office visits, food and beverages at the events, case competitions, resources such as Case in Point books, and MCC t-shirts. Finally, Seniors, keep checking EagleLink as deadlines are quickly approaching. Both FTI Consulting and Deloitte Consulting have resume drops ending tomorrow. If you are planning on interviewing for consulting positions, we cannot stress enough the importance of preparing for case interviews. If you would like to be matched with others preparing for case interviews, please email Hannah Krulewitch at krulewit@mail.bc.edu. As always, don't hesitate to email us with questions. Thanks!

Deloitte Case Competition

The Deloitte Consulting Case Competition is a challenging and rewarding event where students can sharpen their consulting skills and compete to win prizes (the top two teams will receive a monetary prize and there will be "Swag" for others). First you'll submit a brief written response to the case; then the top teams will then be chosen to present to a panel of senior Deloitte practitioners. If you are interested in learning more about the case competition, take a look at the Case Competition Flyer.

KPMG International Case Competition

PMG will also be hosting an international case competition in October which is open to students in all grades. The winning team from BC will have the chance to compete in regional competitions in Chicago, nationals in NYC, and ultimately will have to chance to go to Hong Kong! This is a great opportunity for anyone looking into consulting to get more experience with case studies. The info session for the case competition will be next Thursday, September 29th at 5 pm in Fulton 511. Please see the link below and email Jen Moody at jlmoody@kpmg.com with any questions. http://www.kpmgcampus.com/kpmggo/kicc.shtml
