| The GMA is the elected student
government of the Carroll Graduate School of
Management. Our mission is to enhance the professional, academic and
social graduate student experience through, but not limited to, club
activities, community service, and social events. We work closely with
the administration to build the community and visibility of our
program. We also work with CGSOM clubs to bring potential employers and
career opportunities to the student body. Our community service and
events committee is working with Habitat for Humanity and other area
community service organizations to raise awareness of opportunities.
This effort will not only help you complete your community service
requirement, but also allow you to give back to the greater Boston
College community. We want to bring together graduate students to
increase your network and to promote the feeling of community. To make
sure it is not all work and no play, we organize social events
such as: Thirsty Thursdays - Join your fellow students every Thursday at a local pub or bar Football Tailgates - Tailgate at every home football game with students, faculty and alumni 7-Week Party - Celebrate finishing the first half of the first semester with the first-year students 14-Week Party - Finish the first semester and the business plan competition with a bang Winter Gala - Dance, eat and drink with fellow students at our annual formal event Grad Week- Bid farewell to 2nd-year students in a week's worth of events, such as Red Sox games, disco night, harbor cruise, etc. Other Activities - Join the GMA for various events throughout the year, such as winery tours, comedy nights, potluck dinners, etc. |
