Andrew Tavarelli

Andrew Tavarelli
teaches painting and drawing at Boston College. He is assistant chair of Studio Art in the Fine Arts Department and Director of the Senior Project Program for Studio majors. In addition, he has received numerous awards and grants, including three National Endowment for the Arts Awards. He is a widely exhibited painter with twenty-seven solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions, most notably "Whitney Biennial" at the Whitney Museum of American Art, NYC, "Maps" at the Museum of Modern Art, NYC and "Painted in Boston" at the ICA, Boston, MA.
