One of the main missions of Eagle EMS is to provide EMS education to its members and in addition, the greater Boston College Community. We accomplish this by offering a number of courses ranging from the full EMT certification course each semester, to CPR Classes and everything in between.
For general education questions please contact the Director of Education, Jeff Savarino,
For CPR/First Aid questions please contact the Community Education Coordinator, Heather Funk, at EagleEMSCommEd@gmail.com
For EMT Class/Refresher questions please contact the Advancing Education Coordinator, Meghan Crippin, at EagleEMSAdvEd@gmail.com
For CME questions please contact the Continuing Education Coordinator, Laura Smith, at EagleEMSConEd@gmail.com or Jenn Schiavo, at EagleEMSConEd2@gmail.com
Our types of courses are broken up into 3 categories:
- CPR Classes
These classes are great for any member of the BC community and require no medical training or past experience.
- EMT Classes
These are our most in-depth courses covering both EMT-Basic Original and Refresher courses
- Continuing Medical Education Classes
These classes are offered to EMTs and non EMTs who are interested in learning more about a particular area of Emergence Medicine. Those who are EMTs can receive CME credits through these classes.
