What Is This Event About?
This event will tell you what you need to know to build and develop your career plan. It will answer questions you have on the job market situation. It will tell you what interviewers look for in candidates and what pitfalls students get themselves into. It will show you how colleagues in your situation have found internships and jobs in the past, and much more. It's also an opportunity for you to extend your growing network, get in touch with many of the successful Asian professionals as well as meet and exchange ideas with your fellow classmates and our guest speakers.
Who Is This For?
If you're seriously considering an internship, in the process of looking for a job, or generally interested in hearing more about developing a career, this is one opportunity you should not miss. Everyone is welcome. It’s an occasion to enhance career strategies for all of you, not just Asian students.
Why Should You Come?
Never before has ABS brought together so many distinguished individuals who are eager to share their insights with all of us. This is truly a rare opportunity. Industry professionals - people who have achieved inspirational feats with their lives, and people who have had tremendous experience in working with candidates and interviewers - are here to get to know you and provide valued guidance. ABS is honored to have these speakers come and share with us their stories and lessons learned giving us an advantage in our future careers. Furthermore, in the second half of the day, you’ll get to hear the tried and true stories from our fellow international students about their experiences in landing at a good internship/job.
