Here is some of what you can expect: Dialogue between Muslims and Christians as Mutually Transformative Speech, Archbishop Piero Marini of the Vatican on the Liturgy, The Jewish Background of Jesus, The Jesus of History, The Scriptural Jesus in Art through the Ages, and Jesus through the Eyes of Paul.

Fall Church 21 Resources: Encountering Jesus in the Scriptures

The fall issue of C21 Resources will be in the post in mid-August. It centers on the encounter with Jesus in Scripture, and is co-edited by Daniel Harrington, SJ and Chris Matthews, both of BC�s School of Theology and Ministry and editors of New Testament Abstracts. Among the contributors will be: John R. Donahue, Caroline Osiek, Eugene Fisher, Barbara Reid, Gerald O�Collins and William A. Barry. Topics will range from the Kingdom of God to miracles, women in the early church, the Judaism of Jesus, the crucifixion and the empty tomb. For the first time, this issue of Resources will be available online as well. C21 Book Honored by Catholic Press Association

C21 Book Honored by Catholic Press AssociationThe Catholic Press Association has honored the C21 Series volume, "Voices of the Faithful: Loyal Catholics Striving for Change" by William D�Antonio and Anthony Pogorelc. The C21 volume was awarded second Place in the 2008 Catholic Press Association's History books category.
