Over the past three years, Boston College's Church in the 21st Century Center has published an award-winning book series, drawn from the conferences and symposia the Center has held on campus. Assembled from papers delivered primarily by academics, the books are written to inform and inspire the community of Catholic faithful. Topics range from Church managerial issues to sexuality, and most recently, a book on where hope is found: "Take Heart: Catholic Writers on Hope in Our Time." In April 2009, two more volumes will be published: "Prophetic Witness: Catholic Women's Strategies for Reform," and "Two Centuries of Faith: The Influence of Catholicism on Boston: 1808-2008.
The C21 Book Series is Published by Crossroad Publishing Company. Series Editors are James F. Keenan, S.J., the Founders Professor of Theology at Boston College, and Patricia Deleeuw, Boston College's Vice Provost for Faculties.
