Tutoring Program

the neighborhood center

Our One-on-One Tutoring Program matches students from the Allston-Brighton community with Neighborhood Center volunteers for one on one tutoring with their school work. The students range in age from elementary school through high school. A commitment of two hours of tutoring per week is required. There is a minimum commitment of one semester; however, we find that most tutors work with the same child for both semesters. Most tutoring takes place late afternoon in designated classrooms on campus. The Neighborhood Center has space available for tutoring as well. If you are interested in tutoring a child one-one-one, please fill out the Tutor Application and the CORI Application.
